I will try and compile a list here ...

Note : I've used references from Wikipeida, Subaru + others on here to compile the list.
So Subaru uses a four or five character code to identify all of their engines.
- The first letter is nearly always E - Standing for Engine.
( Note : Only applies for Engines before the introduction of FB Engine series ) - The second letter is the engine's family.
- Next come two digits indicating the engine's displacement. ( Or revision before 1989 )
- The optional fifth character is an identifier to mark revisions. ( Ex: turbo, DOHC, Fuel Injection, etc. )

I've broken them down into the following categories :
- Two Cylinder
- Three Cylinder
- Four Cylinder
- Six Cylinder
- Experimental / Hybrid
- Industrial / Power Units
- Formula 1
- Aircraft
- Bikes
- Marine
Hopefully the links will work to each section, let me know if they don't ...

This is a work in progress - Aim is it to include it in the Wiki page ( http://www.ausubaru.wikidot.com ) ...
