yes Im being cryptic, I'm still looking for info myself. From what I understand it was a California based MY series (late model) that got injection. So far it is all myth and conjecture

I couldn't even find the thread on USMB where I originally found the link to the picture.
I have read elsewhere that the JDM EA81 was available in MPFI as well, without a turbo. Finding proof well...
By the way that is the turbo motor
have a look at the oil pump. I was hoping some one else would have info on the MPFI NA EA81.

Just as a matter of interest, there was one of the F1 flat 12 engines advertised on ebay a few years back. $20,000 at the time. I wonder what ever happened to it.

Tried to find out & can confirm it was on e-bay ...
