Air-Con idle adjustment

Can anybody advise how you can increase the idle when the air-con is switched on , I only want a very slight increase, is their a scew which can be turned?

In a EA81, it should increase the idle speed automatically via the fast idle circuit - this may not apply to the early A/C cars (pre 84). No idea for the EA82-onwards.

Under the carbie near where the throttle cable comes in is a actuator which you can adjust. By undoing the nut and turning the thread with a screw driver, until the desired idle is meet. If that makes sense i could take some photos if you like.

I'm sorry all, I forgot to say that it is an EA82T engine.

On the EA82T there are 2 idle adjusters, one for the regular idle and one for the AC. Both are tucked in behind the manifold by the throttle. The upright one is the regular idle and the horizontal one (your screwdriver will appoach from the firewall) is for AC.
