gen3 im guessing?? keep your eyes on this thread on ozliberty.

http://www.ozliberty.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9769

outbacks and liberty's are almost identical and i think they cover both in the same manual usually.

Thanks mate.
It was just the owners manual I was after though (one to keep in the glovebox), the previous owner lost the original. I tried subaru Aust and they told me to try my local dealer. He has one but won't part with it for less than $75 which sounds abit steep to me!

If anyone has one they could copy I would gladly pay postage etc.
Its for a MY99 (released late 98 ) outback gen3.

That workshop manual looks good, though it says liberty 98-2003, but all the specs seem to say 2003, would this still apply to my 99 outback?

sorry for my stupid questions
cheers

Outback Workshop Manual download

I dunno if that other link is the same as this, but this is my workshop manual, in .pdf format. Just enter the 3 letter code at the top and click "download".

So far it has applied to my 99 outback. It usually repeats the bits that are different, with some kind of code for the different types. (mostly I've noticed that in the wiring section with bits for 6cyl, 4cyl ect.
Living in Canada now. Looking at all these SVXs for sale...

Seems no one can help me then? Thanks anyway but I'm not interested in the workshop manual, just the OWNERS MANUAL.

Looks like I'll have to line the pockets of my local greedy Subaru dealer after all.

:(:(:(
