Hi Batesy, if it's a front wheel bearing, yeah you'll hafta get the old ones pressed out and the new ones pressed in, prolly easier to take it to a mechanic/suspension workshop. While you're there get them to inspect and replace joints, bushes and any other worrying items.
p.s. would also be a good time to get both sides replaced and machine the discs, i found out the hard way that renewing one side only leads to stressing the opposite bearing more but that's up to you.

Hope it works out for you!

we knocked some out with a hammer and punch not to long ago when an Lseries got done here.

and u cant exactly press em out.
the bearings go in one on each side and hit at a stop in the middle. so a press wont be that easy to use.

hammer and punch is easy

Yep, good point Matatak, i should have thought of that! Batesy, if you have the press but cannot find the info in the archives then see if you can get hold of a Gregories or Hanes Suby manual. If you live near brissie i can loan you a copy. pm me if you want one.

Hey, Where did you get this manual? And also do you have instructions for the read bearings?

Cheers

Im pretty sure it's from the gregory's manual, I can have a look for it tonight if you want some pages scanned. What's the read bearing?
