Gen1 wagon suspension swap

Post by loostriker » Wed Nov 26, 2008 10:47 am

hey guys, fair rookie speaking here, but just looking through other posts iv found heaps of info just looking to consolidate now so i do the right thing.

Have a gen1 1992(ser2?) awd liberty wagon thats getting its air bag suspension removed. just so i know specifically what to get from the wreckers, im guessing it would be easy enough to just ask for a standard susp. set up from the same type car, but as iv been reading i can also get early model outback suspension? so can i just look for say a 1997 outback wagon and put it on my car?? wrecker has one of these, also a couple of stock gen1 wagons what to do...

cheers

Yeah outback suspensions will fit - there is a couple of threads in here about conversions. You will also need trailing arms from OB as well and 1" lift blocks while the OB is there.
Cheers
