MY front suspension swap over

Post by Cliff R » Tue May 05, 2009 7:19 pm

All

As my 5th month 1982 MY 4WD touring wagon is a daily driver I am interested in picking up a pair of front struts/spring/brake disc and hub. In other words the whole lot to do up and swap over when I get time.
My local wreckers only have an 83 or 84 MY Leone 2WD and 4 Brumbys of various years. Done anyone know what will fit my car so can price them up.

1984 models had bigger, vented front discs and larger calipers, which means that the pieces are not interchangeable individually, but the whole front hubs can be swapped over, no fuss apparently.

I hope ya can cos im gonna put the front end from a 84 4wd wagon into the front of my 83 sedan, for the benefit of the vented discs
