im curretnly looking at buying a large number of porsche CV joints. much better design than subaru apparently, and maybe i can source some second hand chromoly CVs

Allegedly. I think it's seasonal depending on when the 1 guy who does it (Subi Wan Kenobi) is actually available.

Check out the listings on Kings Springs website, I think you can still get raised springs, but this isn't really recommended as it adds angle to your CV joints, reducing their life.
That can be fixed by installing thicker blocks on cross members ie. 2" or 3" etc, but the catch is the engine drops and rear diff drops as well.
