Suspension replacement in 01 Liberty

Post by Buckshot357 » Sat Jan 08, 2011 10:31 am

Hello all,

This is my first post here, looking for some advice with my 2001 Subaru Liberty Heritage with 170,000 km's on the clock.

It seems the previous owner had it lowered, the receipts don't exactly state what was done (nothing about spring replacement). It simply states lowered x on front and x on back.

Now the car is extremely stiff, I can feel every little bump on the road... it's getting very annoying.

I just want comfort, the car has 18" rims with fairly low pro tyres.

I recently got a quote from a local wholesale suspension place for a set of lowered King Springs and set of front/rear KYB shock absobers for $800 inc. GST supply only.

Any suggestions? Is this the best way to do it?

I'm based in Western Sydney.

Thanks for any tips in advance.

Serkan
