gen 1 liberty strut up-grade..

Post by woody.t » Wed Mar 02, 2011 6:40 pm

i know some people on here have done the strut upgrade using gen 2 (early) outback but i've been keeping my eyes out for a wrecking one in the quokka gumtree etc for sometime now with no luck but see a few foresters again early ones in the much more frequently.. so basically my question is, is it possible to install forester struts into the liberty (obviously changing strut tops) or does it have to be outback as i dont imagine the early outbacks and foresters having to different of a strut in them... cheers.

I've got '98 Forrie struts in my '93 G1S2 Lib wagon. I just redrilled the rear strut towers.
