Anyone got L Series rear coils spare
factory black ones?
Curious as to the colour paint dabs on them, on their top few coils, one colour on each coil
I think the 4WD wagons got two colours per spring, pink, green, orange
I suspect all black springs in rear of the sedans , one was a single yelow paint dab. Dunno if this was RX or FWD sedans.
Any help by fellow hoarders or L sedan owners will be appreciated in identification first instance

I have 4wd wagon springs in my RX, I can check on the weekend for you if you like.
They are eventually gonna be replaced with some red Pedders I have laying in the shed

Just for the experience, yes , thanks Gannon - I'd like to hear your findings on colours.
Curious if your red Pedders have a number.
Pedders list #7249 with a 154mm shock for 84-87 L wagons,
same spring with 130mm shock on 87-94 L wagons.
same spring with 154mm shock for 84-90 FWD sedans
Looks like they have the one spring for all L Series applications, just change the shock.
I am thinking the original FWD sedan rear spring with its thinner wire - not likely to reproduce such a scrawny spring.
Pedders also have a coil spring that may fit L Series rear shocks, giving a varyng rate depending on which size shock you go, what type L and different ride height and feel - softer #2213
