I think you'll find that the damage will only be in the bend part, not the strut - unless you're really unlucky!
That side of the car will be sitting higher as the strut will now be standing closer to the vertical than it's factory setting when everything's happy

Yes, I said radius rod din't I ?
Yup, it is not a pretty sight which ever way I look at it
Hey, hey, name is not Steptoe for nothin' !
Found a pair of transverse links from my 84 MY FWD wrecked a few years back , worked out if I kept the eng x mem I must have kept TL's , bit grubby but got 'em. As for the radius rods need do another thread I think.
I found a pair that have the cup washer welded with the cup facing opposite way to the one in my Brumby so figure they are L Series from another wreck - and I tossed latest wrecked ones !!
The holes to mount TL to leading rod align so good sign and look to be same length with just the washer cup difference
So, new thread will ask if known to be same. Going in to Pedders site to compare bush part numbers for whatever they wanna call the components
Also found 84 MY FWD sedan front struts - may do for emergency fix
Ta Bennie.
