Help Needed! LCA Nolathane Replacements!

Post by WeeGee » Thu Dec 27, 2012 12:21 pm

Merry christmas and all that. Ive been doing some work over the holidays and I've reached the point of replacing my front front lower control arm bushes and don't really like how theyre sitting in the retainer. I'm down south at the moment and most places here have proven to be useless.

They just don't seem to go in properly, theres a couple mm gap between them when sandwiched and they sit tight on the bracket on the subframe as they seem to poke out further than the inner sleeve. They are part # 45474 and appear to be sort of the right one... I'm just concerned about them chopping out on the brackets. Here's some pics, I'd like to know pretty soon if they are going to be alright as I'll probably have to take a trip to perth to get replacements by the looks of it.

Oh well, I got fed up looking for answers and just squeezed the damn things in. They seem to travel alright but I still don't like them. I'll just get some oem ones when these crap out i think.
