Good advise, use the KISS method, would the top out straps help this, with no sway bar, I like the idea of it and easy enough to do, I might make some up and try. I'll do an up date on it when done....when ever I get the time.

I bought an old ea82t turbo bomb of gumtree in melboune with all the fruit. Rear swing away bar, LSD, 14inch alloys, rear LSD (hopefully) and Discs, Lift kit heavier springs, and other crap for $600. Just gotta figure how to get to Alice.

Thoughts on top out straps with no sway bar?

Short story.
I was pit bitch for 2 riders doing finke. I previously bought a $4000 1 owner l series with 90000km on clock with books in 2008 used this car and drove down to Finke for the 2010 Finke race via kulgera with trailer, and set up camp for them at finke (Im really a Bike Guy), Monday arvo/night I drove home via the Finke access road, and did Finke to my driveway in Alice in 3hr 20 min.
The road was so corrugated I had no option other than hold it flat, or I would of looked like Jed Clampet's car from Beverley Hill Billies, I was passing Nissan patrols and Tojos with Trailers, and there were broken down cars and trailers all along the track, I just held it flat....between 80-100kph, if you know the road that is going, I had the time off and thought if the car breaks I'll just leave and burn it.

I got home with one blown rear shock, since 2010 I'm a Subaru guy...and a bike guy. I have done nothing to this car it now has 150000 on it and Ive been places, time to do some upgrades.
