Brumby/MY lift kit bolts
A while ago I thought I remembered someone asking what bolts are required when lifting a Brumby/MY wagon. Stuffed if I can find the thread now but I've just gone through the lift blocks that I have for my wagon, measuring up the bolt lengths, diameters and pitch.
So these all seem to be metric fine threads, or 1.25mm pitch. All should be ordered high tensile. The bolts required for the front strut tops and rear shock mounts are not included below, since the strut tops don't use longer bolts and rear shocks depend on what kind of lifting bracket you use, usually not requiring longer bolts.
The following list is for a 2 inch lift kit
Engine crossmember bolts:
M10x1.25 - 4 x 150mm long
Radius rod mounting plates:
M12x1.25 - 6 x 75mm long
Rear torsion bar tube:
M12x1.25 - 4 x 100mm long
Rear moustache bar mounting brackets:
M10x1.25 - 4 x 75mm long
I think that's all there is, 18 bolts total. If I've forgotten anything I'll add to the list when I come to installing my lift kit, coming soon.

My kit is made up from bits and pieces I've found at wreckers and made myself. And the bolts that were holding them on the wrecked cars were not even fit to hold a gate up
So I ordered all new ones from a specialty fasteners place. Luckily for me I know someone who can order through their work etc etc so got them at a very good price.

Nice work and this should make a nice quick reference for future lift kits

You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.
