custom springs?

Post by Alex » Wed Sep 05, 2007 11:09 pm

hi all,

i was wondering if its possible to get some custom springs made up? im not overly happy with the front end of my wagon. Sits abit too low(EJ22 is the culprit!)

can suspension places make them up? or do i go directly to king springs or whatever? Prices?

otherwise what other options do i have to get abit more lift in the front end of my car? I have been thinking about a 4in lift in the front, but have been turned off it by very experienced people(and id rather an actual ground clearance lift, bring my sump abit higher up)

cheers

Dave

I would. Got some in my RX and love them.

As for the original question, yes most spring manufacturers will do custom springs if you ask. As for $$ that is for them to decide.

You could get just the strut tops by themselves from a 4" lift kit......

Got some springs made up for the gemini the other week, sat a bit low with a V8 in it :) Malaga Springs organised them to be made by a local spring manufacturer, $220 for the pair which i thought wasnt too bad.
