Replacing Suspension bushes

Post by SUBYDAZZ » Tue Nov 13, 2007 9:18 am

Gen 1 Series 2 Liberty.

I wanted to replace the bushes in the lower control arm (rear bush and the inner one) with some Nolathane ones I have. Went to do it the other day when I had the steering rack out but they don't appear to want to come out real easy.

Can I assume the obvious here and say that I am in need of a press of some kind to press the OEM bushes out so I can replace them, and likely to also fit the new ones?

Yes you need to press them out, they are a bonded bush.

The new ones will just push in.
