2004 legacy/outback service manual

Post by cool banana » Thu Jun 26, 2008 10:11 am

Hi all,

Does anyone know how I can get my hands on a service manual to suit a 2005 outback. I think it's titled "2004 Subaru Legacy/outback service manual"

I need help pulling out the rear quarter trim to get to my rear shocks to change out the springs.

Thanks muchly
martin

You don't need to take the side trims off to get to the springs. Only the floor in the tail gate area. The tyre well cover just lifts off. The the two side covers are just clipped in to place. The cover just behind the seat is also held in place with clips but they are a real bastard to get out with out damaging them.
