Hi, can anyone tell me if the inner and outer CV joints will fit onto a Brumby axle?
This is for a trike project .
I am trying to achive a thinner wheel base.
I am using SVX motor and gearbox with Liberty hubs.
Thanks for the help.

cant help you with your driveshaft question, but how are you planning on using the gearbox to only drive one axle?
if you were to fit a liberty 2WD auto rear end to the SVX 4WD auto box it would work well for you. H6 trike - kickass

Are you talking brumby front or rear?

front if i understand the gearbox setup correctly
Why dont you just have some liberty shafts shortened to give whatever track you want.

I rang driveline servics and they said they could not cut it down for me.
all I need to know is, are the splines on the on the Brumby shaftes the same as the Liberty. IE number of teeth and diameter.
I beleve the Brumby shaftes are about 100mm shorter. I was looking for a 5 inch shorterning but 100mm will do.
Thanks Rusty

Mate, simple answer is yes you can fit a Liberty CV to a Brumby axle. I know - I've just done it in order to fit a different gearbox to my Brumby. Takes about 10 mins a side.
Cheers,
John
