King springs shorter for Leone sedan?

Does anyone know if King Springs are shorter for the sedan models? My RX has wagon rear shocks and springs and it is a little high to say the least!

im pretty sure its the shocks, not the springs that change the height. Pretty sure they all use the same springs....but dont quote me.

Last time i brought rear L series suspension there was only one spring number listed and one shock available in KYB

I had L wagon rear springs under my RX for a while , the issue is the spring rate being heigher and that the sedan bum being lighter wont compress them as much as a wagon . Result is that it looks like a funny car .

Don't quote me but I think L rear spring rates are ~ 160 (87+ RX) 180 (85 86RX) 195 (wagon 4WD) . 160/180/195 meaning inch pounds or in/lb .
Note the 180's are what the AWD coupes got .

If you people are really interested there are mobs that will make within reason any spring rate and free length you want .
I now have Konies and 225 in/lb Eibach springs on the back my car and the ride is not supper harsh .
Not the best thing off road but I don't go there .

my rx sits higher in the rear too, i just thought it was because the front springs had sagged. (sorry not 100% sure what springs i have in the car)

what's the easiest way to raise the front by an inch?

Much prefer Industrial Springs over Kings any day

Available in std, lowered, raised in a couple of heights

I have asked this one or similar before and the reply was that the rear suspension of a 2WD sedan L, springs are of the same height just that the mounting point at the bottom is lower in 2WD models, giving a lower stance in the bum. I compared saved 2WD rear coils and compared the free heights with my 4WD sedans rear coils. Looked same free height so discarded them - in an effort to shed the steptoe tag !

sven - do you mean aurora springs? what heights do the l series springs come in for riased ones? i'd really like to get my car sitting flat rather than rear end up

Yes Industrial = Aurora

Very comprehensive and top blokes to deal with - they will work with you to achieve the desired result. Of course helps they are 10min away as well!

My L had a custom rear shock / spring set up c/- Rising Sun...took some work to balance the front & rear, but ended up with a even lift that remained so when loaded or pulling a trailer.

Was very happy with the result

nice. yeah def want the level look and feel to the car. more front ground clearance wont go astry either
