Post by jim » Thu Feb 05, 2009 1:46 pm

hey guys

i picked up a factory alloy bull/nudge bar for my L series today and was wondering how it fits in, i just had quick look but not to sure where it bolts to, any hints or tips appreciated, i'm heading back into the garage now to try to work it out, by the way i did a search but couldn't find anything which is why i'm posting now

cheers

Is it the replacement bumper type? If it is then you have to remove the old bumper which is held in by 2 bolts on each side which go into the chassis rails. I think you need to remove the battery on one side and black canister on the other to help get in there.

It's also a good idea to check to see if you can unscrew the indicator lenses from the front. Mine dont because of the way I secured them, and of course one of the globes went in the first week.
