2 inch lifted brumby need HELP

Nealy 12 months ago i got a 2 inch ausubaru liftkit
finally got around to fitment
and cant get 4wd leaver to bolt back down and steering knuckle hits its self but not a problem
also difficulty going in to reverse

Had the same problem with my lift kit install re the gear levers.

Check the second last pic in this thread

I just "massages" the transmission tunnel with a big hammer to get the 4wd lever to fit and work smoothly.

With the gear levr I managed to fix the problem of reverse by adjusting and tightening a bolt on the transmission lever.

Eventually I will remove the gear lever and cut it and weld it to a better shape.

ok so a little play date with the mallet is in order hehehe
just too be sure who/were to tap. i have issues with were the 2 halves join in the 4wd selector. send it down?

You can just neatly modify the gear lever and the 4WD selector shaft, if you can get a hold of an oxy or welder. It's amazing what you can make fit with a 9Lbs hammer.

all fixed some hammering and bending
also extended the 4wd leaver works better than before i lifted
