could some one with a lift kit installed on a brumby please post pics of all relevant areas that need to be lifted

every time I look for pics on the net I get pictures of lift kits in a neatly arranged pile on a lovely white background or sites that show lifted L series and libertys etc but no brumby or MY wagon models

Why do you need pictures? Do a search on the forum for Subyruby and lift - we installed a two inch lift in his MY wagon a few months ago, there might be some pics there that will help you out.

If you need them to see how it all fits together to make your own you either need a parts car to build it on or to have a look at one thats already lifted - but have a look in the 'flesh' as photos might not give you exactly what you need...

Im looking at making my own out of aluminium block and stainless steel plate and I want to ensure I have every fiddly bit covered

Yeah fair enough - the two fiddliest bits I would say are the strut towers for the front and the steering shaft.

The rest are just blocks with holes drilled in them. The front crossmember is a single block with two holes and same for the mostache bar support bracket's blocks. The rest are a block with a hole and a longer bolt...

toongs i got a steering column knuckle from a liberty will suit about 1 inch front chassis lift if you want. someone may be able to confirm. im not sure as i may have moved steering column in or out. outback ones are longer

You can come have a look at mine if you want. I am in Australind as well.
