describing trailing arm mounts

Post by ScubyRoo » Mon Oct 19, 2009 2:23 pm

G'day folks

I've got a wrecker on the email who is asking me to describe to him exactly where the trailing arm mounts are... I've attached two pics here, can you please double check the arrows are in fact point to the correct part?

He has asked if its the bit where the trailing arm connects to the body.. I'd say yes, but just want to be sure.

Also, would they have the part number inscribed on them? On record I have are:

20520AC030 RHS,

20520AC040 LHS

Any confirmation asap would be awesome!

Cheers,
Owen.

EDIT: i can't get the images to embed, I've uploaded them onto the ausubaru coppermine, and then clicked insert image and provided the link, yet it won't show... any ideas? In the mean time, here's the link for pics...

Ya but the 3 week wait for them to be sent from japan is 3 weeks i don't have as 3 of my 4 tires are already passed roadworthy... Lift kit arrived a few days ago and I'll have some time next week to get it all on!

Sorted! $90 for the pair, picking them up tomorrow. Was hoping to be a tad cheaper, but what do you expect from wreckers. Still, I was quoted $65 by subaru here in frankston and a 3 week wait, so figure i did pretty well.

FYI, I used http://www.findapart.com.au and the part is coming from Jap Wreck in keysborough, Vic (they also ship national for free i believe). No gen2 outbacks were listed on trading post, so that website did the job for me!

So excited, last bits coming together before my scoobs gets his bad boy make over :D

BTW, thanks for the help frog. Slow day at the office?

hey FROG, while we are on this topic... the bush in the trailing arm (that bolts up to the trailing arm mount).. Can you buy these still? Got a part number?

A recent trip to Fraser completely dusted mine.. i can see straight through the pivot. not much rubber left in there!
