Longer Struts?

Post by drof351 » Wed Mar 10, 2010 7:49 pm

Hi,
I have a 92 L series, wondering if you can get 3 inch longer struts or inserts for it?
Thanks

From what I've found hilux/prado struts fits the rear, not sure about springs tho, and you can modify the front struts to take longer commodore inserts?

how do you mean exactly?

remember l-series is like a coil-over shock design in the rear.

you can get shock tops yes.

Yeah read somewhere you can run commodore strut inserts in the front coil over strut assembly, with minor modification and hilux struts/shocks in the rear which are 90mm longer. Then with a body lift they will bolt to the factory position not needing blocks on top of the struts. Just after the exact struts to get.
thanks
