an idea to make a rear axel more like a solid??
having a major brain sneeze
if you remove the rear diff from the body and make a subframe to hold it that runs to the wheels where you have travel limiters on. would this not be nearly the same??
anyone else get my thinking? may have to do a little picture in class

I don't get it. Are you talking about having the diff subframe mobile for more wheel travel? If so I don't get why. Just put a live axle under it if that's your thing.
Tailshaft issues? If you had lots of diff movement, you'd need a lot of plunge in the back half of the tailshaft, where Subies currently have none.
You'll be a busy lad with all these projects, Spike.
