Will Gen2 lib liftkit fit a Gen1?

just wandering if a Gen2 liberty liftkit will fit in a Gen1 Liberty?

edit: Gen 1 and 2 Liberty basically they have same line up of holes for engine cross members/struts/rear cradle, Ive been sussed that it uses same chassis but not 100% sure.

are the rear strut tops the same? I thought they changed the bolt pattern?

The Gen1 does have the tappered rear springs and a slightly smaller bolt pattern. I have filed out the holes to elongate them 2-3mm to fit forester struts.

I think there is difference between series 1 and 2 Gen1 Liberty. Because the rears in mine is from Gen1 1994 model in Gen2 1996 model.

No it wont.

The rear strut top bolt pattern is different. The rest will fit fine.
