so you want to drift a brumby. Best shocks you say? Convert the arse end to wrx and get rid of the torsion bar setup, run 5 stud everything and brakes and get a set of liberty HKS Hyper D coilovers, 700lb springrates.

After you have robbed the bank to do this, we will talk about the front......

Shocks?
How have you stopped the rear diff from flogging around and trying to tear itself out?

step one: take shocks out

step two: replace with steel bars

step three: how the hell do you even have enough power to hold a slide?

Drifting a Brumby, you're kidding.

You need a car with a low centre of gravity for drifting.

well it seems everyone here doesnt think its possible.....

But anythings possible =)
crank the torsion rear end down as soft as it will go.
Put teins all round
Get a turbo

And maybe you can do it.
Honeslty its possible but bloody hard, way to much money and little gain, you really still want to? Get a WRX and do the swap

LOL!!

Koni adjustables and make them real hard and respline the torsion bar lower

maby an oil tap over the rear tyres to lower traction

Probaly will end up breaking something dumping the clutch from high rpm to get a little squeek from the rear tyres!

Also mod the front torsion bar and put in the rear or custom.

LOL

I am sure that any rwd car can go sideways around a cnr if you push it hard enough and to the Scandinavian flick to get it going.

But there is a big difference form a bit of sideways action and real drifting!

Drifting requires enough power to break rear traction at high speed and hold it there.

I am sure that their would be very few competitive drift cars with less than 200kw. I think a ea81 is about 60kw and at best 80 with mods.

Cheers to you for having a bit of fun but it is not drifting!

Anyway post the video and prove us all wrong!
