Removing lift kit

I want to lower my brumby and have discovered when climbing underneath that it has a 2inch lift kit. I rang a shop and they told me its alittle bit more involved than just taking the blocks out. Once the lift kit is removed do i have to replace any parts brake lines, struts ,shocks? etc
im guessing i shouldn't have any issues with other parts breaking on me once the kits removed as it will be at factory height, can anyone confirm?
if anyone is looking for a lift kit ill be more than happy to work a deal out.

What you will need is all the mounting bolts from a non lifted brumby or MY wagon/sedan but must be 4wd ONLY for the moustache bar mounting bolts.
The other things to consider are the steering extension, exhaust if its been modified for the lift and the various hoses such as the radiator and heater hoses. There may be a difference but then again there may not.
As for the brake lines - just make sure they're secured and tucked out of harm's way. The struts etc that you've got will do the job just fine.
You and a mate could do it in a weekend, with someone in the know a day at the most if there's no complications

If you do a deal with the person who wants the lift kit you will be able to use their factory bolts etc. the kit from a brumby will fit an MY wagon/sedan/coupe or another brumby it won't fit an L series as the strut tops are different
a word of warning as well make sure every bolt and nut that has to come off has been soaked in some sort of lubricant like CRC, WD40 or RP7. Penetrine or forsch are two of the best Ive ever used but cost a fortune. my older brother swears by a mixture of diesel and twostroke oil mixed together not sure of the ratio but 25:1 would be a good start.
otherwise you will end up with broken bolts in captive nuts or even worse sheared captive nuts.

Yeah thats what im hoping for someone willing to swap lift kit for standard parts and the're help, otherwise will pay a shop and hopefully get some money back by selling the lift kit.

I'm looking to remove my lift kit in my forester this weekend and would love to do a straight swap into someone's car. However if anyone has info on the bolts needed that would be great.
It's a 2" body lift from scorpion subaru.

WA is just too far away. I can send you the standard bolts and you can send me the kit back after you fit them
