King spring pricing

Post by Cliff R » Sat Dec 31, 2011 1:46 pm

I am in two minds at the moment on if I should sell a pair of King Springs I had on the front of my MY wagon for about a month and then took off.
They are KFFS-45 front strut springs which seem to suit the MY and the L series
With standard 30 year old struts I did not like the way the car handled on the road so I took them off with the intention of putting them back on when I was going to fit a new set of struts as well.
Now I am going to leave the car as standard maybe in the future all I may change are the struts and leave the standard springs in the car.
Can I get some honest opinions on how much a set of these springs may be worth and do I read the King Spring listing correctly which seems to show the springs for the MY and the L series are the same.
The springs are in good condition with only a few scuff marks and loss of paint on the end of the springs where they were fitted to the strut.

I have a pair of aftermarket springs for MY and they are marked L as well. Thinking after market have "compromised" their words not mine, on spring rates etc to come up with a one spring fits all. Depends on the squish fit when the load is on the spring, if one is squished more in one application than the other, likely spring will be different character - i think anyway
