Hey Guys

Finally got the correct wheels nuts for peugeot alloys and they work a treat!

Went to get a wheel alignment and a general check over at pedders and the following came back:

Lower Control Arm and Inners Bushes torn.
Radius Rod Bushes worn causing excessive movement
Front Sway Bar bushes split
Lower Trailing Arm bushes torn

Due to all this a couldn't get a wheel alignment. I can get suspension bushes real cheap and I may as well replace them all rather than just the flogged ones.

How many bushes do I need for which part of the car?

My dad's mate owns Whiteline suspension and gave me an awesome price on my VL Suspension.

Are the bushes on Whitelines website all the ones I need or are their ones that arent mentioned?

Well, we have one control arm each side and they are lower only, upper control arms belong elsewhere. The lower control arm has one bush - an inner - each side. Pedders web site may be better to explain names of bushes etc available for your L Series ?

So, first line of lower control arms and inner bushes torn - are one and same thing

Radius rod bushes, there are two bushes per side , so four in total - come as a set. L Sies 4WD have 18mm and MY/Brumby have 17mm radius rods. These bushs take a beating when braking so is good that poop ones been picked up. Very rarely see an old MY or L with anything other than factory or original bushes. Pedders are doing you a favour picking them up for you.

Front sway bar bushes another good one to pick up, L Series have cotton reel shaped bushes so four per car and then the bar to chassis mount rubbers , two of.

As for the rear trailing arms, again usually shot, with a tel tale rusty brown stain coming from them ,there is a number for Nolathane that is a two piece set up so no need to press new ones in, still have to get old ones out.

43216 rings a bell, ebay is also good info sometimes.
