Hey Guys

Recently got the following bushes replaced:

Control Arm Lower Bushes
Strut Bar to Chassis Bushes
Swar Bar Link Bushes
Rear Trailing Arm Bushes

Still where the radius rod joins on to the hub is still very loose.

Like i can turn it with no effort. Really getting frustrated, i just want my car to be fixed and not have to bring it back again and again.

I have attached a photo of the rod and the bush (i assume it is one).

Could someone please shed some light on this?

Im able to twist the rod itself.

I don't know the correct names of the parts but does the bush looking bit seem worn out? It seems to be sitting on an angle and not flush in place

it should be filled with grease, but they are sealed in subaru's so unless it is split and leeked grease then it is fine. by the looks of it i wouldnt worrie about it doent seem to be split and they do have movement in them

im sure someone will correct me if i am wrong but im pretty sure what i have said is correct

That is a tie rod end. Doesn't matter if you can rotate it, it's meant to be able to do that. What you want to know is when you grab the tyre and tyre to push it left to right that there isn't any movement/knocking in that tie rod end.

If you don't like it anyway then order a new tie rod end for about $20-25. Should do a wheel alignment after replacing this part.

Thanks guys. Also I think when i full lock the wheels in either direction it hits the radius rod. This has caused some of the balancing weights to be knocked around. Is there any fix for this?
