Air suspension (struts not bags) was an option from 90-94 afaik, they usually crap out and get swapped for standard struts.

See if theres a compressor inside the front left quarter panel.. Or check if there is pneumatic lines on the top of the struts under the bonnet.

If you still cant tell there will be a button on the dash to adjust the height or check if theres springs on the struts or rubber bags wrapped around the struts.

Yeah there is nothin under bonnet on top of struts, or under front quarter panel and dash. Pretty sure mine is just standard.

Thanks chris

Yep, shame that cos the bags create an incredibly smooth ride (when they stay inflated that is)

Might be easier to tell -

3 things:

1) Does the car have a button for raise and fall on the left from steering column?
2) Pop the bonnet, you'll see the strut towers, there should be either a black plastic covers, remove them - do you see any hoses/tubes going there? or just standard nut with bolt poking out and no hoses?
3) If not sure about the strut towers - jack the car up and have a look at the spring section, do you see a black rubber bellow behind the coil springs, if it had standard strut you'll see plastic loose cover over the struts (prevent dust from going in the struts).

Cheers
