On a L series wagon, any one has one on, is it worth while, on off road/ gravel roads?

Not myself, but I will let you know when I get around to making and fitting one to my wagon:twisted: Its on the long to do list.

I think it would be helpful overall, esp with spirited driving.

I think it will be worthwhile. Made a noticeable difference to rigidity on my Legacy and that's just with on-road use. I plan to butcher a whiteline one onto my L series offroader soon, don't think there's anything available off the shelf!

Actually what made the biggest noticeable difference to rigidity in my Legacy wagon was the REAR strut brace. Trouble is that there's a big bar in the way when you fold the rear seats down to load something big. Tradeoff for an upgrade / vs / convenience as is often the case.

I found it in an SF forester. Not even close to the L series, looks like it will need different holes drilled and the whole thing shortened by probably 40 or 50mm, but hey, it's sitting here, might as well try and make it fit. Maybe there's something actually off the shelf which would fit an L series (that'd be nicer!) but not high on my list of priorities to research at the moment unfortunately.
