Dave I thought your 4" L series kit you had was designed properly? You said it was quite different to the blocks in Lapsed's kit (which I aggree are not a very good design).

btw did you ever find that kit?? I still want it :)

i cant see why lifting 1" will make too uch diffrence to the overall runnings of the car, only downfall i could see would be travel and stress on cv's

I should start by saying that the below is coming from a prude with a legal 2” kit.

An extra 1” will not make too much of a difference to the overall running of the car however you must remember that at 3” so you are kinda already at the 1” limit. Your are correct about the cv’s and stuff however it will not lift your engine/gear box etc, and your tyers are ok aren’t they. So I suppose what I am getting at is, basically what’s the extra inch going to achieve? why go the extra inch? (other then it looks good).
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

You can easily escape the problem of extra stress on the CV's by making sure you also install the extra body lift blocks in the front aswell as the strut top ones.
Although think maybe the best course of action to take is to lower the rear. The leone already looks SO HIGH from most angles :)

Hey I just had a look at your pics from the Mud run and unless the camera distorts it or something weird due to all the mud) its look ok the way it sits now.

When the car is sitting u want the back to be atleast an inch or so higher... as soon as you drive it levels out... if u manage to get it levelish when not in motion then it will look alll poxy and high at the front as soon as u drive it.
