L Series Rear Struts on MY/Brumby Rear Bracket. This is a good upgrade to the standard torsion bar. You can run them in conjuction giving a nice firm ride in the back. (just wind the torsion bar right down or otherwise it will tend to bounce around.
The space between the two holes is 75mm and they need to be about 40mm from the bottom edge. The single hole needs to be in the middle and 55mm from the edge (Closest to the the body). The angle between the body and the strut tops needs to 65 degreees. See picture below.

Taking out a 2 inch lift block and putting the bracket mentioned gave about 30-40mm extra height (this is with king springs and Standard shocks). Also stiffened the rear suspension heaps, giving a much harder ride without a load on. With a load it on it is fantastic..
As the saying goes a picture says a thousand words

I wonder what the amount of travel is now compared to before.

I wonder why the rear CV's havn't dislocated themselves yet! Surely they must be at a pretty wild angle?

To answer the questions...
Back CV are fine so far haven't had any drama at all yet (touch wood). As the torsion bar can be wound up that high the cv are only just on the upper most CV limit nearly all the time.
There is roughly 3.5 inch of suspension travel in the rear. The should be a fair bit more travel to, but the shocks are not quite topping out when the ute is on the ground. (read to jack it up it only takes about an extra 20mm of height)
The springs are red due to pedders supplied them (i.e king springs painted red)

Just done this with Will's help- he swings a mean club hammer!
Thanks again
Superb improvement to anyone runnning 50 0r even 75mm of lift.
VERY STIFF.
NO bounce yet and I tested some rough gravel roads tonight, empty tray.
Front springs are working more progressively too, now the whole ship sits level in the water.
I have really pissed of the dog (Groover) who has to now find a litle more jump every time he boards the Ute.
There were a few messy attempts until he worked it out.
Photos later on.
Thanks for the help measuring Matt.

I wonder how these will weigh up against my Holden Air Shocks im running in the rear.
So are you still able to adjust the heght in the rear using these?

On road feel improvement was awesome. Without the sloppy torsion bar holding the fort she was a different animal.
Wheel travel was defiinatly lost though, not a setup I would use offroad.

Unfortunately they aren't really adjustable as such, however you can adjust the torsion bar for a very small change.

Please feel free to wonder.
2 x 25mm straps of steel welded in place per side plus the original torsion bar..
I tested it today..drove it harder than it will ever be driven again.
Final testing.
Trust me it's all good.
