hi everyone,

I've started installing my lift and am wondering whether im doing it right. On the rear, where the shockie bolts to the lift bracket, does it matter which way u bolt the 2 together? Like the lift bracket in front of the shockie or the other way round. I have attached some pictures to help u get what i mean. The reason I ask is because there is heaps of positive camber on the wheels now. Will the diff hanger lift block fix this?

No , diff height bears no relation to wheel angles . The L being semi trailing arm IRS is going to do this and more the higher it gets . If you space the suspension locating points down by the same amount as the strut extentions then the geometry should return to normal .

God only knows what people do to roll centres and centre of gravity when they raise these cars . To be safe the roll stiffness (bars) need to be increased and this doesn't really fit in with supple long travel suspension which true off roaders need and these cars just don't have .

Shocker bracket is right .Once you space the rear suspension X member,2 blocks per side, and diff at the same time the camber come good.

oh cool, that makes sense. run into another problem, ive stripped the thread out on one of the diff hanger bolt holes:mad: whats the best way to retap it?
