have had this for round a year and a half now.

just a basic 250cc Import Quad.
was very cheap for the setup it has

plenty of fun times have been had on it but its actually been dead for the last like 6 months or so.

firstly some fun times up at Wedge (where it died on the way back)

Has been through quite alot while ive had it already.
got a good workout that weekend at Wedge Island

let Subafury's friend Ryan drive my car on the way to wedge while i drove the quad, and it was the best thing to ride up much cruisier than the car and at 10pm was loving the cool air.

seems to have around 80 to 85 top speed (whihc maxes out far to easily unfortunantly)

on the way back was when Disaster struck. completely died on D3V1L Dave....
returned it home where it has sat for 6 months and finally got around to working on it over the past few days.

now how it sits.

and the Reason it stopped....

hopfully going to source new parts soon and get it running again soonish

Looks cool, I've always wanted one. Though was it one of those really really cheap ones hence the hole?

Bugger eh?

Is alex or subafury matt gonna strap a turbo on the side?

Looks like it'd be a lot of fun, good luck with the parts and getting it going again, it doesn't seem like it should be too much trouble.

Cheers

late reply but YES!

tis running now richened up the mixture abit to. (never knew how to do it before as there is no 'screw' adjustment on these ones).

altho found out the Fans circuit board was broken so fan was not working for an indefinite amount of time.

hopefully i can squeeze a 7incher in there. (i can see somebody quoting that comment already)

shall be able to have some fun soon i think

looks like a Honda motorcross one a freind dad had once although it was a 500cc. After you've broken it in again you could try changing sprockets for a little more speed surely something will fit from another bike but I suppose if not a few minor adjustments wouldn't be that hard. How would the steering and frame hold up with the extra forces though.

Hey mike.

its a 250-9 bought from D-force maybe in Ozzy Park i think?
go for like 2200 nowadays, guessing there old stock now.

no video maybe able to get some next time out. due for a run soonish im thinking :)
if you ever happen to come up here again you can definitely go for a spin around my block.

the china ones are definetely alot cheaper then named brands. (plus its 'suppose' to be a Honda motor anyway)

good fun to ride them, but i reckon ill have more fun on a trail bike (being that i use to ride them everyweekend)

yeah that would be the one I have been thinking about
http://www.d-force.com.au/A250-9.htm
does it have much power as in how well does it go in soft sand and dunes.

Mike.

i would have to say it goes damn nice in dunes and on the beach, pretty much aswell as the Suby's can do id say (it can also jump over dunes nicely :D )

as with anything it has limitations but i guess if you had more money to spend im sure you could get one that would go alot further.
you could even easily chuck wider rear wheels on this one for abit more traction and etc.

a few of the other WA boys have ridden it also so they may be able to comment aswell.
