was a prety cool trip today, lots of hardcore driving which tested both driver and vehicle....some damage was sustained during the day but nothing major
all the subarus ended up with leaky exhausts from being knocked around, the bash plates all took a bit of abuse, slodeo side steps took a punishing, cruisers gas tank took a bit as well. but nothing major...just a result of offroading....the pictures dont do justice and hopefully the other guys got some better pics of it all caus these are off my phone
i suffered a brake pad failure at the very end of the day in the cruiser...ie: the pad FELL OUT of the calliper and he piston came out causing loss of brakes and fluid everywhere...but simple fix...cause was just a worn out pad that eventually fell out the shim....so all is good
here are some of the photos i got from today

debut of the brumby in spectacular style
matty strutting his stuff

Hmmm... Looks like there's heaps of Patterson's Curse (aka Salvation Jane in SA) around at the mo.
One thing that disappoints me with video and pictures is how easy it looks when you play it back, where as when you're there you can see the angle of the slope, the depth of the holes etc. Its not until you're going hard that it really looks good. That's one issue I have when you're trying to show other's what you've experienced.
Cheers
Bennie
