Love the Jimny in tow. About 2 years ago a saw a similar arrangement not far from home also with a Jimny on the trailer but no where as awesome as your parents. Very nice:)

That is one serious piece of kit!
Where's it been so far and where has your dad managed to get it stuck?
Cheers

i will get pictures up soon. or if your facebook savy you can add my father and see the adventures yourself
its been a few times out to Lightning Ridge and surrounding areas (the corner of NSW,QLD and SA) it has been stuck a few times in sand creek crossings
a few weeks back i got it stuck in my back yard

i was maneuvering it to park the trailer and the ground gave under the rear wheel (underground stream) in the end after breaking its massive winch cable.. needed to call in one of the BIG towtrucks (the ones semi's use :-S)
and today they're heading out to warrick (inland QLD) for a week

a few years on. i thought id update this a little.
the Isuzu Truck was a bit of a let down. the gearing was wrong and uncomfortable for driving. (any hill would be reving out 2nd. but not enough grunt to continue into 3rd. so every hill is -40kms) so that was sold on..
THEY UPGRADED! well thats a bit of an understatement..
introducing The ComMANder:

they have been over WA for the past 6 months. starting at Halls Creek and been working there way south. i think as of today there camping out at CUE. and heading towards Perth in a few weeks.
if you see them about give them a wave! my old man was apart of the Subaru 4x4 club many decades ago

this truck is much better suited at offroad. (20 something speed automatic). the truck has survived the corrugation roads of WA very well, the trailer and Jimny (Jimny is in the trailer) have rattled to bits, the trailer will need to be re-designed when he gets back East Side.
from what i have heard they havent got this one stuck yet (altho the winch fitted to this would give a tugboat a run)

				They're some nice rigs.
I had a friend in school who now builds with his dad custom 4x4 Mitsu-Canters and MANs that sell from 60k-100k a pop. They're pretty amazing.
That MAN truck is premium. Of all the trucks to drive in the Pilbara, they're the best I think.
