What better way to spend a public holiday than taking the family and the car to the beach :-D

It's manual so no different to 99% of every other awd subie out there. My auto 'back gets a bit of front wheel spin when I first get on the beach but the box locks up tight pretty quickly and causes me no grief.

Jordan, it's about friggin time too, how long have you been here now? MMMMMMMMBeachn!

The beach he was on is a brilliant piece of sand BTW, hard packed and a lot of it, even the soft stuff is easy going. Pretty funny, the first few times I drove it I was letting the tyres down on the old L series, soon realised I didn't have to unless I was up the far southern end at high tide!

How did Tom take it? Also, just be careful on that beach because there are some awfully strong rips that form at the change of tide along the gutters I have enjoyed a 'ride' a few times swimming there.

For anyone who says a tasmanian beach is better than Boambee, needs to get out of tasmania...

Jordan, love the car and I have to agree with Ben, Boambee is an awsome beach, have stayed at Boambee and Sawtel many times. I wouldn't hesitate in living there just for the great beaches alone, not to mention the lifestyle.

Would be interested to know where the local is in Tasi though, my guess the only one that would come close is Coles Bay.

Yeah Boambees great - Except for the time we got picked up after doing some circle work down there after school - young & dumb.

Thanks for the compliments fellas, Amy took the pic, Tom and me are in the water in the background.
How did Tom take it?
He had a ball, loved every minute of it and has constantly been asking to go back ever since.

It may be possible that the sand is nicer on a Tassi beach but thats just because it's only warm enough to go to the beach 3 days a year there our beaches get a little more of a work out

Fishing rods were sacrificed in when we moved :(
