Let's not talk about my old work car (mitsi Magna) snatching the outback from being really stuck...

Please watch before posting!

Are you sure the Toyota wasn't towing you out?

Strategically cannot see the big muddy boghole at the front of your car...

NO matt tow balls are not made to handle that kinda pressure on them they can brake off n end up throw the crusers window

only if your using a snatch strap.

towing on road with a snatch strap isa pretty stupid idea anyway, the car bounces constantly. get a tow strap / rope

Yer but that was a snatch not a tow :)

Yeah Matt towing probably not so bad I guess. I'm probably thinking more of the dangers of snatching via the towball, they arent designed to take sideways forces. My mistake :P

derrrr ...a TOW ball is for TOWING...which is wt i was doing..and we didnt have a tow rope only the snatch strap the cruiser had with him.

haha not designed to take sideways loads...thats kinda wt they get whenu got a trailer hitched on and ur driving. their only designed for usually 80 to 100 Kgs down..but the drag they achevie is basically a sideways force.

Bumpty - lol i dont surf..Subafury and his dad do tho..but the boards culdnt be taken back up to wedge as 5 ppl had to cram into my car after the cruiser died.
