Hey Andy,

I have fitted a ALLCARPETS carpet. Not to a subie , it went in to a charger. It almost went straight in . A cut here and cut there just to make it fit better to that car. Back then , when i fitted it , a few years ago now, they weren't as good as today's carpet , but was still nice. Looked the goods.

Now that i think about it , it may have been a TRUE FIT CARPET.

Rang Truefit and after a while I was told no suitability on the L
Rang Allcarpets direct and got offered 120 plus 16.50 freight to my door , which I thought was pretty good .
I bought a maroon Charger in Brisbane in 1989 :-) was a champion ride I loved it - drove it around Australia for a year and finally put it to rest in a Perth scrapyard - I think I spilled a tear or two that day :(

They are hard to judge, you may have to cut the rear end off maybe
What did you pay if you don't mind telling?

I've got one for a brumby sitting at home waiting for the "free time" day were I can take the interior out and fit it.

I think the cost was $140 delivered... I should really look at getting it installed, Sunnie will be a new ride with some floor covering!

Cheers

Seen a few around for sale on the net, was thinking about one for the M.Y. When you fit one do you have to put adhesive of some sort down first? I thought it might be tricky getting all the holes (for seat bolts and seatbelt latches etc) lined up properly so it sits flat and smooth.

I just fitted a Trufit moulded carpet in my Brumby. It was around $180 for front and back plus standard underfelt. I could have got a slightly cheaper one but they were out of stock so I paid a little extra for a better quality one.
The fit is good. It was difficult to cut out all the holes and the bits around the shift levers and handbrake. It came with no cut outs at all so it was in and out a million times while I cut little bits off here and there. The holes for seats and seatbelts were the worst as there is no real room for error. I cut it so I could just get the bolts through but this made it really hard to line up.
There was a bit extra on the sides and back and I trimmed the minimum amount off and just tucked it under the trim. I didn't use any glue or anything, just let the trim hold it in place. I did stick some underfelt to the inside of the plastic panel under the rear window hoping it will reduce some noise.
