12V Air Compressor

Post by NachaLuva » Thu Sep 15, 2011 1:45 pm

Just found this online from SuperCheap auto...

http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online ... escription

"37.5LPM, Price: $46.45 EACH, Save: $51.10 EACH"

Seems pretty good to me but i'm only guessing.

What do others with more experience think?

Yep got 1. Its only a cheapy but should still work fine. Even comes with a storage case! lol

Next thing might be to get some of these tyre pressure reducer thingys. Do you leave em on the valves? I'd be a bit worried bout them being ripped off...

I have the supercheap desert devil or whatever its called, the biggest one they had. 72L/min.

Its a good pump pumps up tires nice and quick. Haven't tested on reliability because i haven't had a chance to use it much.

I have a similar one but a real brand that does 72L per min. Its very reliable, had it just over a year and used is 100 odd times, possibly more. Only ever blown one fuse but I have spares so it wasn't an issue.

Don't know a price as it was a graduation present last year.

affordable quality, speed and genuine performance, cant go past Bushranger Compressors
and you can pick up the black max (perfect for subi's) normally around 299.00 for 199.00 on special if you can find where....
best bang for buck,

sorry, guys , but your 72L/M isnt that accurate?
thats only true if you dont clip it onto a tire,
some cheap ones do okay, others are junk,

but none will stack upto the the bushranger blackmax for 199

if you can find it, grab it!
it does my 29.5" tires in under 2 mintues, from 8 psi upto 38 psi
which is pretty quick
good luck

yep the blackmax is the go.

or any good quality double piston type. Frog's Ebay one looks ok.

but these air compressors are like blow up dolls....get a good one that doesnt go bang in the first place. I've gone through about 6 in the last 30 years.....compressors that is!

Bumping this up. I got one of the ebay 12V 150L/min jobbies from ebay user princess trade.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Brand-NEW-15 ... 1e6a4c138a

Took 1 week to arrive. Comes as pictured with hard carry case.

Image

Deflated my front tyre to 6psi and it took just under 1 minute to inflate to 36psi. Easily fast enough for me. I will see how long it lasts.
