Mate, Lanotec, if you have not got some - get some ! In recent weeks a mate built like the proverbial eastern bloc poohouse right down to his grip strength was struggling with an internal hex key mushroom headed bolt in about M6.No, nil, nyet, nada budge, no matter what, until a few moments with a squirt of lanotec. Bingo !! Had same with a screw on side of my hitachi alternator, impact screw driver on the job for this job. A few minutes soak under the head and at the threaded end and a baby could undo it . Amazing!!
OK, now, brushes for our MY and L alternators available online, correct first time ?? I found a blackened slip ring and a nice shiny one and stunted brushes. Some polishing paste now has slip rings highly polished.
