Facia Kits
will have two versions fo sale presently
One is the centre mount as per the diagram in the first few posts - looks good, and
the other is the model which is off centre to the left. I think they were a one-size-fits-subaru-and-toyota, with toyota having a blank for HVAC controls. Maybe a corona???
Both were worth a packet back in the day - i think i paid about $50+ and it was a real hassle to have just 1 unit shipped to SA.
Good luck nevertheless. Nothing looks worse than a deck hanging the dash with some half baked attempt at securing it with duct tape

so, unlike some people i wasnt going to get one of those facia kits cause they look horrible. sorry, but i really think theyy dont look slick. So i wanted to find some type of plastic material that would look the same as the interior. Surely Strathfield car radio stereo fitters have some tricks up thier sleeve.
Sure enough the answer is 'marbleite' cost me $10 for a little sheet and although i havent put it in yet it will make the facia look very good. Its very thick strong sheet that i will just sand back and araldite into the gaps.
hope it works for others

I thought mine must have been different somehow as the head unit slid into depth after I cut the single din out but wasn't until I changed the head unit recently that I found the problem but my old head unit had fly leads for the RCAs and aerial socket so it all mounted shallow luckily. This is the go saves having it stick out plus I mounted some cut down door trim plastic where the ash tray was and put a mike holder there for my UHF just a pity I don't have any pictures with me!
