anyone familiar with gen 1 factory radio?

After the other driver of my RS kindly left the key on flattening the battery...... grrrrr.... :twisted: The radio is stuck on AM, pressing the AM /FM button has no effect. as cool as listening to AM radio is what the hell is going on here? very annoying help me.

pull the interior light fuse and the radio fuse with the radio on. that usually resets it.

I just consulted my 1992 owners manual, but it doesn't even have the OE stereo my car had in it!

yeah I ahve the manual - there is a seperate attatchment for the australian models that has the stereo in it - doesnt help though

i have a 1.5din deck out of my sisters GX here. The full one with dolby i think. You can have it for the price of postage if you want it.

mine has the factory cd player integrated with it, its a separate unit.... i guess it just plugs into the back of the tape / radio unit?

switched the car on this morning... guess what pressed the FM button and away she goes. Very strange. Sorry Alex dont need yours anymore, thanks anyway
