I am completey dumb founend as to how you run splits. First i dont know were the wires go and do you need to run it to the sub.....This is what i says on the box..

by splits you meant front component speakers obviously? ie. separate woofer and tweeter with a crossover?

you run the main wire from your source (amp/deck whatever) into the 'input' terminals on the xover. Then you run a wire from the xover to the tweeter and a wire from the xover to the woofer. if that makes sence.

youd usually have the woofer located in the door and the tweeter in the higher part of the car. Either sumwhere in the dash so the tweeter reflects the sound via the windscreen or sumwhere high up in the door. The triangle bit near the mirror is ideal in a l-series.

they really arent that hard. read the instructions :)

Thanks mate. Im gusseing by woofer you mean the speaker? Mine didn't come with insructions and im putting them in a gen1 series 2 wagon. Cheers Ethan
