MY09 Forester stereo replacement

Post by juandemi » Thu Oct 02, 2008 1:22 am

Hi all,

For the forester MY09, is it just a standard double din unit? or I need a facia kit with that?

I want to change the original unit to an alpine/clarion unit with satnav in it, is there any adaptor I can buy to make the original steering wheel audio control work?

Thanks a lot for your help:-D

hard to say mate. But they can make the steering wheel buttons work with most new after market head units.

Does the foz have a built in stereo to the dash? Or does it look like it can be changed?

Best bet. Take it to a stezza place and get some info.

It doesn't looks like a build-in dash type, more towards a double din unit

might get someone from jbhifi have a look
