Pull the triangle bit, its held on by 3 lugs.
Have fun trying to fit any decent tweeters in there....

The tweeters are pretty small, so if you get a decent set of splits you'll more than likely have bigger tweeters so they won't fit.
I went to a dealer and got the flat covers (for the Jap model w/out tweeters, part #'s are 94251AE080 and 94251AE090, took 3 weeks Ex-Japan) and used the tweeter cups they came with my splits screwed into them.
I used 6" speakers, but others have used 6.5" with spacers (if you use MDF, make sure you water proof them), only real restriction is depth of the speaker.

The wires in the cars are about 20ga if not smaller.
I ran 12ga for the mids/woofers and 14ga (way overkill) for the tweeters.
When you run the cables thru the grommet and rubber boot jigger (between the door and kick panel), use ALOT of silicone spray or similar, that was a PITA.
You are amping these right?
And your sound deadening the doors too? No point putting in decent speakers without deadening the doors.
